Welcome to Lyons Main Street!

Lyons Main Street was started in February 2000. We are a member of National Main Street Network and the Georgia Downtown Association.

Our mission is to Preserve the heritage of Lyon’s Downtown Community while creating a vibrant core of independently owned business and a one-of-a kind destination and shopping experience, by promoting economic growth and preventing or correcting deterioration through the implementation of economic restructuring, design, promotions and organizational plans developed by the Board of Directors on behalf of Lyons Main Street’s business owners, property owners, residents and volunteers.

Through dedication and perseverance, Lyons Main Street will create a dynamic Main Street Community of commerce that honors historic Lyons’ preserved architecture and magnificent rural setting, while actively encouraging economic growth to create a one-of-a-kind shopping and destination experience for residents and visitors alike.
